Care Instructions
Proper care extends the life of your garments and maintains fabric quality. All Soft Pajama pieces are made from natural fibres — please follow these care instructions to preserve their softness, shape, and colour.
Universal Guidelines
General Care Rules
These care instructions apply to all Soft Pajama garments regardless of fabric type. Following these guidelines will help maintain the quality, fit, and appearance of your items over time.
Wash at 30°C Maximum
Machine wash in cold water — maximum 30°C. Washing above this temperature causes shrinkage, colour fading, and fibre damage in all our natural fabric garments.
Delicate or Gentle Cycle Only
Select the delicate, gentle, or wool cycle on your washing machine. High-speed spin cycles place excessive stress on natural fibres and stitching, reducing garment lifespan.
Hang Dry in Shade
Hang garments to dry in a shaded area away from direct sunlight. Sunlight bleaches natural dyes and printed designs. Do not tumble dry — heat permanently damages natural fibres.
Do Not Use Bleach
Never use chlorine bleach, optical brighteners, or bleach-based stain removers. These chemicals permanently damage natural fibres, cause colour loss, and weaken fabric integrity.
Wash New Items Separately
Wash all new garments separately for the first wash. Natural dyes in printed fabrics may release minor excess colour during the initial wash — this is a normal characteristic of natural textile printing.

Most Loved
100% Cotton
Fabric composition: 100% Cotton. Our cotton garments are pre-washed and treated with a gentle softening agent during production. Cotton is the most durable of our fabrics and is suitable for regular machine washing when following the care instructions below.

EcoVero Rayon Fabric
EcoVero Rayon Fabric. This garment is made from EcoVero rayon fabric, a soft and lightweight material designed for comfort. It offers a smooth feel on the skin and is suitable for everyday wear, including sleepwear and loungewear. To maintain fabric quality, follow standard care instructions such as gentle washing and air drying.

- Cold water only — 30°C maximum
- Use a mesh laundry bag in machine
- Hang dry immediately after washing
- Iron on low heat (110°C max) while slightly damp
- Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent

Cotton Modal Blend
This fabric is made from a cotton and modal blend. It is lightweight and suitable for everyday wear, including sleepwear and loungewear. To maintain fabric quality, wash in cold water on a gentle cycle and hang to dry.

- Use gentle or delicate cycle
- Use mild detergent without optical brighteners
- Hang dry flat or on a hanger immediately
- Iron on low heat (110°C max) if required
- Reshape while still damp

- Do not tumble dry — modal shrinks with heat
- Do not use bleach or optical brighteners
- Do not wash above 30°C
- Do not iron on high heat setting
- Do not scrub or rub fabric when wet

Linen Cotton Blend
This fabric is made from a linen and cotton blend. It is suitable for everyday wear, including sleepwear and loungewear. To maintain fabric quality, wash in cold water on a gentle cycle and hang to dry. Some light wrinkling may occur after washing.

- Use gentle or delicate cycle
- Hang or lay flat to dry in shade
- Iron on medium heat while slightly damp
- Use a mild, plant-based detergent
- Expect and accept natural texture wrinkling

- Do not tumble dry — causes significant shrinkage
- Do not use bleach
- Do not wring — distorts garment shape
- Do not wash above 30°C — linen shrinks in heat
- Do not dry clean unless stated on label

All Soft Pajama garments include a sewn-in care label with internationally standardised wash care symbols. Use this reference guide to understand what each symbol means and how to follow the instructions correctly.
Machine Wash
Safe for machine washing at the temperature shown on the label — maximum 30°C for all our garments
Hang to Dry
Hang the garment vertically to air dry. Do not place in a tumble dryer. Dry away from direct heat and sunlight
Iron Permitted
Ironing is permitted. One dot = low heat (110°C max). Two dots = medium heat. Three dots = high heat. Always check label
Do Not Bleach
Do not use any bleach, chlorine bleach, or oxidising bleaching agents on this garment under any circumstances
Do Not Tumble Dry
Do not place this garment in a tumble dryer. Heat from tumble drying causes shrinkage and permanent fibre damage
Gentle Cycle
Machine wash on the gentle, delicate, or wool cycle only. Do not use standard or fast wash programmes
Important Information
Additional Product Notes
The following information applies to specific product types and fabric characteristics. Please read before washing your garment for the first time.

Garments with Lace or Trim
Garments featuring lace, broderie anglaise, or decorative trim must be placed inside a mesh laundry bag before machine washing. Failure to use a laundry bag may result in snagging, tearing, or distortion of the trim detail. This damage is not covered under our returns policy.

Rotary-Printed Designs
All printed designs are produced using rotary printing — a traditional textile printing method. To extend print life, turn printed garments inside out before every wash. A colour variation of up to 10% between production batches is a known characteristic of this printing process and is not considered a defect.

Robes with Sash Ties
Before washing, remove the sash from the robe and wash separately, or tie it loosely to prevent tangling during the wash cycle. Robes are heavier when wet — hang to dry immediately after washing and reshape while damp to maintain correct drape and structure.

Elasticated Waistbands
Garments with elasticated waistbands should never be wrung or twisted after washing, as this degrades elastic integrity over time. Always hang dry. Do not tumble dry — repeated heat exposure permanently reduces elasticity and causes waistband distortion.

Natural Fibre Shrinkage
All Soft Pajama garments are made from natural fibres, which may experience minor relaxation after the first wash — typically 1–3% depending on fabric type. To minimise shrinkage, always follow the cold wash (30°C maximum) and hang dry instructions stated on the garment care label.

Storage Instructions
Store clean, fully dry garments in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and moisture. Fold neatly or hang to prevent permanent creasing. Do not store in plastic bags — natural fibres require air circulation. Avoid storing near moth-attracting materials without natural deterrents such as cedar.
